Transfer Procedure

Text Box: We will require the following documents ,to enable us to arrange the transfer for you through the DVLA.

Your V5 registration document relating to your vehicle (for
ammendment by the Dept of Transport).

A V317 transfer form (which we will send to you) completed at section B .   where marked ‘X’

A current MOT or PSV certificate relating to your vehicle
(if applicable).

A cheque crossed and made payable to the DVLA for £80, this being their transfer fee.

A cheque crossed and made payable to WN Registrations for the agreed purchase price of the number.

Should you not be the Registrated Keeper on your V5 Registration Document you should complete the appropiate section and this will be ammended at the time of transfer.   Please ensure the Declaration includes your signature.

Your vehicle must have a valid tax disc to allow the transfer to take place.   Do not send your Tax Disc at this stage.   A replacement disc will be sent to you on the completion of transfer.

Text Box: Please send all relevant documents by Recorded Delivery to the address on the home page. Upon receipt of these documents we will place the transfer at Coleraine DVLA, who will arrange transfer with Newcastle DVLA, who will then notify you on completion and return all documents directly to you.

Do not send any documents etc until number has been reserved by telephone.

Should you be unable to send all the relevant documents immediately and wish us to
reserve this number for you, please send
payment or deposit by return post.

This is only available if you own the vehicle and are awaiting the log book (V5) from Swansea.

We do not hold numbers indefinitely
All transfers are approved by Swansea Licensing Office
